Seven Seas Voyager Named Best Large Cruise Ship

Fort Lauderdale - 15. Februar 2011 - Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Voyager has been named the “Best Cruise Ship in the Large Ship” category by the readers of CondÉ Nast Traveler. The 11th annual list, devoted to cruising, reflects the votes of thousands who participated in the Annual Readers Choice Survey published in the current February issue. In addition to receiving the highest overall score, Seven Seas Voyager had the top individual score in the “Crew and Service” and “Cabins” categories. The ship also tied Holland America’s Prinsendam for first in the “itineraries and schedule” category.

“Regent Seven Seas Cruises is recognized as the most inclusive ultra-luxury line in the industry and we are proud to see Seven Seas Voyager at the top of the CondÉ Nast Traveler list of large ships,” stated Mark Conroy, the line’s president.

Seven Seas Voyager, which emerged from a multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2009, carries 700 privileged guests in ultra-luxury. The all-suite, all-balcony ship defines luxury cruising at its finest with marble bathrooms, walk-in closets, and flat-screen TVs. This spectacular vessel has four dining venues to choose from including Prime 7 Steakhouse, Signatures Restaurant, dedicated to Le Cordon Bleu cuisine, as well as the illustrious cuisine of Canyon Ranch.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is presently recognized as the “most inclusive ultra-luxury cruise line” because airfare, all-suite accommodations, gourmet cuisine, open bars, sightseeing excursions, gratuities and taxes are included in the fare. Beginning with its 2011 Europe season, every cruise will also include a free, pre-cruise luxury hotel package that features airport-hotel and hotel-ship ground transfers and breakfast prior to check-out.

The award-winning Regent Seven Seas fleet is comprised of three all-suite ships that carry from 490 to 700 guests in luxury to ports in Australia, Europe, Asia, Alaska and the Caribbean. Public areas are resplendent with rich fabrics, textures and furnishings. Suites, among the most spacious at sea, measure from 300 to 1,200 square feet and offer tastefully appointed living and sleeping areas, marble bathroom, walk-in closet, flat-screen TV, fully stocked bar and private balcony. Facilities include several elegant bars, a show lounge, casino, library, Internet center, card room, outdoor pool, hot tubs and Canyon Ranch SpaClub®.
