New 'Seven Seas Signature' Initiative Includes Onboard Updates

Fort Lauderdale - 28. April 2011 - Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced additional upgrades as part its multi-million dollar, fleet-wide Seven Seas Signature initiative.

Recently rated “world’s best cruise line” by Condé Nast Traveler readers, the company operates the all-suite Seven Seas Voyager, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Navigator on seven- to 119-night voyages to Alaska, the Mediterranean, Greek Islands and Holy Lands before venturing to Egypt, India, Australia, New Zealand, the Far East, South America and the Caribbean for the winter.

“We are pleased to continue enriching guests’ experiences with the third phase of our Seven Seas Signature initiative,” states Mark Conroy, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “This is an ongoing plan to elevate our ultra-luxury brand and long-term value proposition. More updates and enhancements will be announced in 2012.”

A Multi-Phase Master Plan
The first phase of the Seven Seas Signature program, completed last year, featured a $100 million enhancement of all three vessels. Almost every area of the ships was refurbished, with public rooms being substantially redesigned by the renowned architectural firm of Yran & Storbraaten of Oslo, Norway. The updates resulted in a new look that is fresh, elegant and luxurious yet retains the familial warmth and charm for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises is lauded.

In Oktober 2010, the company revolutionized the cruise industry with phase two of the Seven Seas Signature initiative, when it announced that guests would receive a free, luxury hotel package in connection with every cruise, beginning in April 2011. Coffee Connection was added to all ships for refreshing drinks and pastries. Exclusive Suite Slumber Beds were added to all suites in addition to L’Occitane® bath amenities; HermÈs amenities are featured in Penthouse suites and higher.

The third phase of the Seven Seas Signature program includes the renovation of select public rooms and suites and equipping Penthouse and higher-category suites with iPads. Beginning with the 2012 summer season, guests in concierge-level suites and higher will enjoy a range of benefits from priority online shore excursion and restaurant reservations to upgrades and complimentary amenities. Enhancing the culinary experience, menus in the Compass Rose and La Veranda restaurants will be expanded with a greater emphasis placed on showcasing specialties from the regions visited.

Today, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is widely recognized as the world’s most inclusive ultra-luxury cruise line with airfare, all-suite accommodations, award-winning cuisine, premium spirits and fine wines, live entertainment, shore excursions, gratuities and taxes, and a pre-cruise hotel stay included in cruise fares.
